Through God's Grace we seek to make Brookside Methodist Church a place for everyone to come together and allow Jesus and the Holy Spirit to make a lasting difference in our lives, community and church.

2026 is the 50th Anniversary of Brookside Church.  Plans are getting underway for celebrations throughout the year.  Please watch out as details of all events will appear on the website as soon as they are available.  We hope the community around Brookside will join in our celebrations.

Welcome to our 50th Birthday Challenge

We have put together a pack of challenges for you to have a go at, hopefully find something new to love about yourself, new hobbies, a bit of mindfulness or a new craft. You have a whole year to complete 50 challenges, some of them quite easy and others needing a bit of time and thought.

If you complete 50 challenges, you can apply for a badge to commemorate your achievement.  We have cloth or pin badges to choose from and these are free (although donations are always welcome).  More information on badges can be found in the challenge pack.

There are printed copies of the challenges on the vestibule table in original and large print versions. If you would prefer a PDF copy, or have any questions, please email Lynn Barnett at 50thBadges@gmail.com

We are a friendly congregation and our building has wheelchair access, projected services and a sound system with a hearing loop.   Sunday morning services are at 10.30 am.
