Brookside Methodist Church

Through God's Grace we seek to make Brookside Methodist Church a place for everyone to come together and allow Jesus and the Holy Spirit to make a lasting difference in our lives, community and church.

We are a friendly congregation and our building has wheelchair access, projected services and a sound system with a hearing loop.   Sunday morning services are at 10.30 am.   Messy church is held monthly at 4.30pm.

A Discrimination and Abuse Response Service is available from the Methodist Church if you have experienced discrimination or abuse within a church setting.  Details through our Contact Us and Useful Links page.

Prayer and support continue to be offered to church members, contacts and anyone in need.  If you would like us to pray specifically for you, your family or friends, please send the details by email to

BROOKSIDE ONLINE NEWSLETTER (monthly) and notices (weekly) are being distributed by email.  If you are interested please send your details to

We are delighted that our new flat roof was installed ahead of time and with minimal disturbance.  We are grateful to everyone who has contributed to the fund for this work, including the Big Lottery Fund and Peterborough Methodist Circuit which have awarded us grants.

This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.
